Locals will be saying… why Meadview, it’s only like 2hrs away? Well Ladies and Gents, while I looked like this in the back seat and slept from the massive last night we had…

My two drivers in the front seats missed a turn and we were headed way-way-way away from where we wanted to be. So we made the decision that Meadview was our stop!

But while going the wrong way we had an adventure!

When nature calls and we pull over to see the most epic mountains in all their blue layers.
This picture doesn’t to it justice. I was not in a great state to actually function and take a great photo. Sorry, my bad!

When we discovered we were going in the wrong direction, We made a u-turn in someone’s backyard. Legit someones yard Y’all!
And in true style, we got out and had a quick walk around and took some snaps. I’m obsessed with Cacti’s. So Arizona is my favourite place. They are everywhere, check out their yard!

Once we got back on track we were ready for that golden hour to come. And what better way than to head back to Meadview, with a detour to the largest Joshua tree forest in the world. With open ranges, you might catch a glimpse of wild horses, burros, coyotes, jackrabbits, and other desert wildlife.
You will see HEAPS of Joshua Trees!!

It’s epic and amazing and I loved seeing them! It was my first encounter with a Joshua Tree. It totally made my hungover state!
But what was to come was even more epic. That golden hour of delight.

Welcome to Meadview, Arizona.

We stayed at the only MOTEL available! I was excited but Vic and Gloria were not excited at all! I felt like I was on a true American Roadtrip with a side motel!
Hello, Canyon’s End.

After dinner, I also experienced my first Dollar Tree! And in the most classic American way possible.
A woman walked in 2 minutes after me. Full of sass and positive vibes and yelled out as she walked in..
” I love me some Dollar Tree, yeah!”

God Bless America! I loved her and the experience. I love a bargain and honestly what else was I going to do in Meadview.
For those that have no idea…
