The Next Step Cocktail Fundraiser

The Next Step

How do you help keep doors open of an amazing clinic changing lives… Have a Cocktail Fundraiser at Morris Jones and invite amazing people with big hearts who want to make a difference.

That’s exactly what Rhiannon Tracey did. On Monday 16th May, 200 wonderful guests gathered to hear Rhiannon’s amazing journey. Barry Hall,  her new bestie, joined her on the night as MC and shared his support for The Next Step.

Rhiannon sat telling us her whole story from the very accident that changed her life to the countless surgeries and break through treatment. She shared her passion, her down fall and what needs to happen for the future… keeping the doors open so people in her situation have a place they can go to and achieve goals. She showed her biggest goal… At the end of her speech she kicked off her shoes, wheeled back and stood up and took a few steps while saying thank you for coming.

As you can imagine the 200 guests were blown away by her amazing accomplishment. I will admit even as a friend of hers, every day she inspires me and surprises me with her achievements. I really don’t know how she does it but it pushes me to be a better and positive person.
